Job Summary

The Department of Human Biology and Kinesiology (HBK) at Colorado College invites applications for a visiting instructor or professor position for 1-3 courses of Introduction to Human Nutrition, HK125, in the spring and/or summer of 2027.

Colorado College is a liberal arts college of approximately 2,000 students. We utilize a block-plan teaching model in which students take one class at a time, and faculty teach one class at a time, meeting three (3) hours per day for 18 days. Information about the block plan can be found at: https://www.coloradocollege.edu/basics/blockplan/.

The Introduction to Human Nutrition courses, HK125, would be taught in any two of the blocks of the spring semester (blocks 5, 6, 7 and/or 8) and possibly summer block A. Note, there is an 11-day spring break between blocks 6 and 7, and 11 days between blocks 8 and A. The dates of our academic calendar for the spring of 2027 can be found here and at: 2026-27 - Colorado College

The Department of Human Biology and Kinesiology offers a minor in HBK with hands-on experiences and student-centered data analysis. Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
