Role Description
The Blockchain Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom. This position oversees the design, development, and maintenance of blockchain architectures and protocols, guiding technical decisions across the product lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Blockchain Lead collaborates with product, finance, and operations stakeholders to define technical requirements, refine use cases, and ensure alignment with business objectives. The role also involves:
- Establishing best practices
- Mentoring team members
- Staying current with industry trends to inform Cowchain’s roadmap and technology stack
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in core blockchain technologies, including Blockchain platforms and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
- Solid understanding of Cryptography concepts and practical experience implementing secure protocols.
- Knowledge of Cryptocurrency ecosystems and related infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Finance principles relevant to digital assets, token economics, or financial services applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in blockchain (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Go, TypeScript, or Python).
- Experience leading technical teams, setting architectural direction, and delivering production-grade distributed systems.
- Background in designing secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions, with a focus on code quality and testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud environments, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
