Description & Requirements

Bloomberg delivers critical information in a world where information matters. We give influential decision-makers in business, finance and government a driven edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas, delivered through innovative technology. Our people work well under pressure and thrive in a team environment.

Our Team

Bloomberg’s Internal Communications team informs employees about our strategy, products and services, empowering them to accomplish business objectives. These communications also engage employees with the Bloomberg culture, with each other and with those in their networks – all while encouraging a dedication to the company’s philanthropic mission. The result is employees who drive our business forward, while feeling motivated about growing a long-term career within the company.

What’s the role?

We are looking for a creative, responsive and detail-oriented writer and communicator to develop and execute internal communications in our highly dynamic and global firm. During this 12-month contract role, you’ll partner with the internal communications editorial team to write and develop internal stories and content, while also providing broader communications support across the team.

As part of the role, you’ll write and develop stories on everything from Bloomberg’s Financial Solutions business, technology, and product initiatives to leadership, employee experiences, collaboration, and philanthropy. You should be comfortable getting up to speed quickly on new subjects, identifying the most compelling angle, and turning complex information into clear, engaging content — while also supporting broader Internal Communications priorities as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
