Advanced Blue Prism Developer
Location: Manchester 5 days onsite
Clearance: BPSS
Inside IR35 Rate: £700.00 - £725.00 pd
Our Client is hiring for a reputed client and is looking for an experienced Advanced Blue Prism Developer to design and deliver complex RPA solutions that are reliable, scalable, and built for real business outcomes. If you enjoy tackling intricate requirements, optimising performance, and helping others level up, this role could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Blue Prism automations for complex processes
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse RPA requirements
- Apply advanced Blue Prism design principles to build maintainable, efficient solutions
- Create reusable objects and libraries to speed up development and improve consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Blue Prism processes
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Optimise existing automations for performance and efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement of RPA development standards and processes
- Take part in solution design sessions and share technical expertise
- Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow or other ITIL-aligned service management tools

What You'll Bring
- Advanced proficiency in Blue Prism, including object-oriented design, exception handling, and audit logging
- Strong Blue Prism solution design experience (robust, scalable, maintainable architectures)
- Solid process design and documentation skills (mapping, requirement gathering, technical design docs)
- Expertise in debugging and resolving complex Blue Prism issues
- Integration experience with applications, APIs, and databases
- Familiarity with version control for Blue Prism process assets
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent communication in English—able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week at either Manchester or Inverness
