Blue Yonder WMS Solution Architect
In this role, you'll partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate operational needs into robust Blue Yonder WMS solutions while providing architectural leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Blue Yonder WMS solutions for complex warehouse and distribution operations.
- Facilitate discovery workshops with stakeholders to understand current processes, challenges, and future-state requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs aligned with Blue Yonder best practices.
- Design and optimize end-to-end warehouse processes, including:
- Inbound and Receiving
- Put-away and Replenishment
- Inventory Management
- Picking, Packing, and Shipping
- Wave and Workload Management
- Returns and Reverse Logistics
- Cycle Counting and Inventory Reconciliation
- Evaluate business requirements and maximize the use of standard Blue Yonder capabilities while minimizing customization.
- Define integration architecture between Blue Yonder WMS and enterprise applications including ERP/SAP, TMS, OMS, automation systems, material handling equipment (MHE), and third-party logistics platforms.
- Provide technical leadership across configuration, interfaces, extensions, data migration, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Conduct solution reviews to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Mentor and guide project teams including developers, consultants, integration specialists, and QA resources.
- Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization activities.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and critical design decisions and drive them to resolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing recommendations on warehouse transformation strategies and Blue Yonder roadmap opportunities.
- Support solution estimation, project planning, and identification of future optimization opportunities.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS solution design and implementation.
- Successful delivery of multiple end-to-end Blue Yonder WMS implementations.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution center operations and best practices.
- Deep expertise in Blue Yonder WMS configuration, architecture, integrations, and solution design.
- Experience integrating WMS platforms with ERP/SAP, TMS, OMS, automation systems, MHE, and third-party applications.
- Solid understanding of APIs, messaging services, interfaces, master data, and transactional data flows.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level interactions.
- Proven ability to work effectively across geographically distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Blue Yonder WMS Certification or equivalent implementation credentials.
- Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS and cloud-based deployments.
- Background in manufacturing, retail, logistics, automotive, or distribution industries.
- Familiarity with adjacent Blue Yonder solutions such as Transportation Management, Order Management, Labor Management, or Supply Chain Planning.
- Previous consulting or customer-facing solution architecture experience.
