Vending Assistant – BM Caterers

Location: Bishopsgate - London EC2N
Salary: 31408 / Year
Contract: Full time

Help keep service stocked, smooth and customer-ready

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday work.

The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

  • 6:00am - 2.30pm
  • 11:00am - 20:00pm

We’re looking for a reliable and organised Vending Assistant to support our vending operation and help keep everything running efficiently.

Job Description

Vending Assistant - Key Responsibilities

  • Replenish and restock bean-to-cup coffee machines and beverage supplies across designated tea points.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain coffee machines to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor coffee machines for faults, low stock levels, and operational issues, reporting problems promptly.
  • Deliver and replenish fresh fruit, biscuits, and other refreshments to tea points on a daily basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tea points, ensuring they remain fully stocked, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory management, reporting shortages and ordering requirements when necessary.
  • Support restaurant operations during lunch service, including food replenishment, clearing tables, cleaning dining areas, and assisting customers as required.
  • Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain high standards of cleanliness in all service areas.
