BMC Helix Engineer (SC Cleared)
Andover (Hybrid)
6 Month Contract
£500/day (Outside IR35)
BMC Helix Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance and Helix migration + implementation project experience.
6 Month Contract based in Andover (Hybrid). Start ASAP ideally August 2026.
Hybrid Working - 3 days/week remote (WFH) + 2 days/week working on-site. Paying up to £500/day (Outside IR35).
A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business on a large-scale Government project:
- Leading the migration from BMC Remedy to BMC Helix SaaS ITSM environment.
- Design, build + migration for an end-to-end BMC Helix ITSM solution covering Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Asset + Service Catalogue management.
- Strong hands-on BMC Helix ITSM experience on large-scale enterprise environments.
- In-depth expertise in BMC Helix ITSM modules including: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Request + Knowledge.
- Design + build integrations with 3rd-party platforms via BMC Helix iPaaS and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Configure + maintain BMC Helix Discovery for CMDB population and CI relationship mapping.
- Implementing SLAs/OLAs, automation rules, escalation policies, and approval workflows.
- Acting as technical escalation point, monitoring platform health + managing upgrades / patches.
- Other Tasks: BMC Helix iPaaS / Integration Service, AR System workflows, Filters, Escalations, Active Links + Smart IT configuration.
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash for automation tasks.
- BMC Helix Discovery (ADDM) + CMDB data modelling.
