Position Overview:
- At least 5 years of systems administration experience supporting Windows and UNIX platforms in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting BMC TrueSight / BladeLogic Server Automation in a large-scale environment; experience with estates of 20,000+ servers would be beneficial.
- Strong working knowledge of BladeLogic Server Automation capabilities, including BL packages, component templates, snapshots, discovery, compliance, patching, deployments, NSH scripting, smart groups, RBAC, reporting and infrastructure administration.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, RHEL, AIX, Solaris, Oracle databases and stored procedures.
- Working knowledge of VMware technologies and virtualised infrastructure operations.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting; Unix shell scripting and Active Directory experience would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across technical teams and vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear documentation and work effectively with customer-facing stakeholders.
- A positive, flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to turn your hand to a broad range of operational tasks performed by the team.
- Experience in a large financial services or investment banking environment would be advantageous.
- A technical or information sciences degree is preferable.
- Working knowledge of AI tool sets for future releases of TSSA that will be AI aware.
