We are looking for a Patching & Compliance Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux administration, patch management, compliance, and BMC TrueSight monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining Linux server security, ensuring patch compliance, monitoring infrastructure health, and resolving vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular patching and security updates across Linux servers.
- Manage RHEL, CentOS, and other Linux distributions.
- Plan, schedule, and execute monthly/quarterly patching activities.
- Analyze patch compliance and identify missing security updates.
- Troubleshoot patching failures and remediate non-compliant servers.
- Maintain patching reports, compliance dashboards, and audit documentation.
- Work with security teams to remediate CVE/vulnerability findings.
- Monitor Linux servers using BMC TrueSight / TrueSight Operations Management.
- Configure and maintain TrueSight monitoring policies, thresholds, alerts, and events.
- Investigate TrueSight alerts related to CPU, memory, disk, processes, services, and system availability.
- Ensure monitoring agents are installed, healthy, and communicating properly.
- Perform post-patching validation and confirm server health through TrueSight monitoring.
- Automate repetitive patching and compliance activities using Shell/Python/Ansible where applicable.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, application, and change-management teams.
- Participate in Incident, Change, Problem, and Vulnerability Management processes.
