GetFix Ltd is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our Electrical & Controls Team.
You will play a key role in delivering HVAC and BMS projects, commissioning systems across a range of environments, including boiler rooms, office buildings, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret BMS panel drawings and electrical schematics.
- Create, review, and verify I/O schedules to ensure accurate system configuration.
- Carry out BMS control panel modifications in line with project requirements.
- Replace and upgrade BMS controllers, including associated testing and commissioning.
- Install secondary containment to support cable management and installation requirements.
- Commission BMS and control systems, carrying out testing, fault finding, and optimisation, with remote technical support available where required.
What you'll have
- Electrical background, with relevant qualifications and technical training.
- Proven experience working as a Commissioning and Software Engineer within the BMS or building controls sector.
- Experience carrying out control panel modifications and upgrades.
- Proven experience completing controller upgrades, including testing and commissioning.
- Experience delivering BMS retrofit and replacement projects.
- Working knowledge of Trend, Distech, and Niagara systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical controls, BMS systems, and HVAC applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively on live client sites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel nationwide as required.
