GetFix Ltd is looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our Electrical & Controls Team.

You will play a key role in delivering HVAC and BMS projects, commissioning systems across a range of environments, including boiler rooms, office buildings, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret BMS panel drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Create, review, and verify I/O schedules to ensure accurate system configuration.
  • Carry out BMS control panel modifications in line with project requirements.
  • Replace and upgrade BMS controllers, including associated testing and commissioning.
  • Install secondary containment to support cable management and installation requirements.
  • Commission BMS and control systems, carrying out testing, fault finding, and optimisation, with remote technical support available where required.

What you'll have

  • Electrical background, with relevant qualifications and technical training.
  • Proven experience working as a Commissioning and Software Engineer within the BMS or building controls sector.
  • Experience carrying out control panel modifications and upgrades.
  • Proven experience completing controller upgrades, including testing and commissioning.
  • Experience delivering BMS retrofit and replacement projects.
  • Working knowledge of Trend, Distech, and Niagara systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical controls, BMS systems, and HVAC applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively on live client sites.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel nationwide as required.
