Role Overview
In your role as Schneider BMS Service Engineer, you'll bring technical muscle and sharp troubleshooting skills to their dynamic team. Expect to work closely with other engineering professionals to service, troubleshoot, and upgrade building management systems across a host of sites. They are doing more than just keeping the lights on – they are optimising for energy efficiency, cost savings, and comfort in buildings.
This is far from a static, clock-in-clock-out position. It's built for an engineer who wants to keep progressing taking on more responsibility over time, becoming the go-to expert on site, mentoring newer members of the team, and, for the right person, moving into a Team Lead or Senior Engineer role as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities
- Servicing Building Management Systems (BMS) Ecostruxure
- Programming and commissioning Schneider BMS systems
- Reading and interpreting system design plans
- Collaborating with other team members on solution design and functionality
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers as you develop toward a leadership role
- Maintaining customer relationships through excellent service
- Embracing continuous learning initiatives to keep up-to-date with BMS systems
The Ideal Candidate
- Expert knowledge of Schneider / EcoStruxure BMS systems
- Previous experience in a service engineering role
- Comfortable reading a set of MEP drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Willing to travel within London
- Problem-solving mindset with a keen analytic eye
- Ambitious and eager to grow — with an eye on leading a team in the future
