Role Overview
In your new role as Sales Estimator, you'll be a crucial part of the team, utilising your skills and knowledge to generate new and ongoing business opportunities. You'll work closely with both the sales and technical teams to ensure the smooth delivery of cost-effective, viable solutions for varied client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding client needs and creating sales quotes
- Liaising closely with suppliers and partners to ensure cost-effective sourcing
- Presenting detailed proposals and costs to clients
- Assisting the sales team in closing business deals
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and the competitive landscape
The Ideal Candidate
- A proven background in sales estimation within the BMS sector
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC or BMS
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts clearly to a varied audience
- Able to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Keen attention to detail, particularly in relation to costings and quotations
