The Pitch
Every BMS sales conversation you've ever had has gone the same way: retrofit the panel, renew the maintenance contract, quote for the next PPM visit. Same box. Same story. Same margins getting squeezed every year. This role isn't that.
Our client has built a genuinely different proposition — a deep-level BMS and mechanical diagnostics platform that goes far beyond legacy building management systems.
It delivers real-time fault detection, predictive maintenance, and automated reporting that shows facilities teams and end clients exactly where their money is being wasted — and how to stop wasting it.
Instead of selling a maintenance contract, you'll be selling a measurable, provable reduction in ongoing BMS and mechanical maintenance costs. That's a conversation that gets you in front of FMs, Estates Directors, and CFOs — not just Building Services Managers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking a genuinely disruptive diagnostics and predictive maintenance product to market across new and existing accounts
- Building relationships with FM providers, consultants, contractors, and end-user estates/facilities teams
- Running the numbers with clients — quantifying current maintenance spend vs. projected savings — and turning that into signed business
- Managing a sales pipeline from first conversation through to contract, working closely with the technical/delivery team on scoping
- Representing a product that's actually easy to sell, because it solves a problem every FM already has: unpredictable costs and reactive maintenance
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What We're Looking For
- A background in BMS Service Sales, BMS Sales Engineering, or Mechanical/Controls Sales — you know the industry, the buyers, and the buying cycle
- A genuine understanding of BMS, HVAC controls, or building services maintenance — you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to be credible in front of one
- A track record of hitting or beating sales targets, ideally with contract/PPM or service-based sales experience
- Someone who's tired of selling the same commoditised maintenance contracts and wants to sell something clients are genuinely excited about
- Comfortable in consultative, numbers-led sales conversations — this is ROI selling, not box-shifting
What's In It For You
- £50K to £70k+ basic salary
- Realistic £100k+ OTE through an uncapped, genuinely rewarding commission structure
- The chance to get in early on a product with a strong pipeline and a compelling story — not a legacy brand playing catch-up
- Autonomy to build and own your patch across London and the Home Counties
- Full support from a technical delivery team so you can focus on selling, not project managing
- A rare opportunity in this sector: selling innovation and savings, rather than defending margin on ageing infrastructure
If you're a BMS sales professional who's ready to stop selling the past and start selling the future — get in touch.
