Brand new BMS Service Team Leader role combining hands-on engineering with team leadership
Join a leading OEM with a growing UK service operation and excellent long-term progression
Hybrid position offering a mix of field service, technical support, scheduling and team development

The Company:

Our client is a leading OEM within the Building Management Systems sector, delivering advanced building controls and energy management solutions across commercial, pharmaceutical and manufacturing environments.
Due to continued growth of their service operation, they are looking to recruit a BMS Service Team Leader to support customers predominantly across the North of England and lead a growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BMS Service Engineer looking to take the next step into leadership, with a natural progression route towards a more managerial position as the team expands.

Role Overview: BMS Service Team Leader

This is a hybrid technical and leadership role, combining approximately three days per week of traditional BMS service engineering with two days focused on coordinating and supporting the engineering team.
You'll provide first-line technical support, schedule day-to-day engineering activities and regularly visit engineers on-site to review work and provide guidance.
The team currently consists of a Service Engineer alongside four Commissioning Engineers, with plans to continue growing the service function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
