BMS Supervisor
We are seeking a BMS Supervisor to join a major Commercial Project in London. This is an opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile site, supervising the installation, testing, commissioning and close-out of the BMS to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Role
Reporting to the BMS Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of BMS activities on site, ensuring installation and commissioning works are completed safely, to programme and in accordance with project specifications.
You will work closely with BMS subcontractors, M&E teams and commissioning teams to drive progress, maintain quality and ensure systems are ready for successful testing, commissioning and client handover.

Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day BMS installation and commissioning activities on site
- Coordinate BMS works with mechanical, electrical and wider project workstreams
- Manage and monitor BMS subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, correctly and to programme
- Monitor installation progress and identify potential delays, clashes or technical issues
- Carry out site inspections and ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure BMS panels, controls, field devices and associated systems are installed and ready for commissioning
- Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and system troubleshooting
- Monitor snagging and drive completion of outstanding works ahead of commissioning and handover
- Ensure site Health & Safety requirements are maintained throughout BMS activities
- Attend coordination, progress and commissioning meetings as required
- Assist with resolving installation and commissioning issues with subcontractors and project teams
- Support project close-out, including QA documentation, O&M information, commissioning records and handover documentation

About You
Your Experience
- Experience supervising BMS installation and commissioning activities on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects
- Strong understanding of BMS controls, field devices, panels and systems integration
- Experience managing and coordinating BMS subcontractors on site
- Good understanding of BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of site quality, snagging and project close-out processes
- Ability to coordinate effectively with mechanical, electrical and commissioning teams
Your Qualifications
- Relevant Engineering, Electrical or Building Services qualification preferred
- Strong practical knowledge of BMS systems, installation and commissioning practices
