Are you an experienced BMS Support Engineer looking for your next challenge?
We're looking for a BMS Support Engineer to join our South Wales Support Team, providing maintenance, fault finding, repairs and technical support across a range of customer sites throughout the region.
As one of the UK's largest Building Management Systems specialists, BMSI offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of systems, customers and projects while developing your skills within a supportive and experienced team.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to live within a reasonable travelling distance of Cardiff and be comfortable travelling to customer sites across South Wales as part of your day-to-day responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on Building Management Systems.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across a variety of BMS installations.
- Undertake small repairs and remedial works.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and reliably.
- Respond to customer callouts and provide technical support when required.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation of work carried out.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and provide excellent service at all times.

The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience within the Building Management Systems industry.
- Strong knowledge of either Trend or Siemens BMS systems is essential.
- Experience with Tridium, Schneider or other BMS platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Good understanding of mechanical plant and HVAC systems.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a wider support team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- PC literate.
- Willing to participate in the on-call rota for emergency and breakdown support.
