Experienced BMS Support Engineer Wanted
BMSI is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Support Engineer to join our Southern Region team. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll be based on a prestigious customer site in Berkshire, playing a key role in maintaining and supporting critical Building Management Systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on Building Management Systems in line with customer service agreements.
- Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues to maintain system performance and reliability.
- Completing small repairs and remedial works.
- Conducting routine inspections of BMS equipment and associated controls.
- Responding to service calls and supporting customers during system failures or breakdowns.
- Recording maintenance activities, repairs, and customer interactions accurately and professionally.

- Experience working within the Building Management Systems (BMS/BEMS) industry.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
- A good understanding of mechanical plant and building services.
- Experience with Trend and IQ Vision systems.
- Exposure to other platforms such as Siemens, Tridium, or Schneider EcoStruxure would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing as part of a wider team.
- Good IT skills and experience using PC-based software.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota for emergency support.
- A full UK driving licence.
Location
Please note: This role is based on a static customer site in Berkshire, so applicants should be within a reasonable commuting distance of the area.
