Technical Compliance Manager
Location: Essex / Hybrid
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

A growing smart-building and BMS specialist is looking for a Technical Compliance Manager to take ownership of technical standards, compliance, and engineering quality across the business. This is a key role for someone who understands BMS technically but also enjoys process, standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Own technical compliance processes across BMS projects and service operations.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and procedures.
- Review project documentation, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Carry out technical audits and quality reviews.
- Ensure systems and installations comply with relevant standards.
- Support engineering teams with technical guidance.
- Investigate technical issues, defects, and non-conformances.
- Produce reports and recommendations for management.
- Maintain technical documentation and compliance records.
- Support training and development of engineering teams.
- Work with project, service, and operations teams to improve technical quality.

Experience
- Strong technical background within BMS, controls, or building services.
- Understanding of BMS design, commissioning, and service.
- Experience with technical compliance, QA, or engineering standards.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to engineers and management.
- Knowledge of relevant BMS/HVAC standards and regulations.
