About The Role
Sytner Harold Wood is looking for an exceptional Sales Enquiry Manager to join our award-winning team.
This is a pivotal leadership role within our sales operation, responsible for ensuring every customer enquiry receives a first-class experience and that every sales opportunity is fully maximized.
As our Sales Enquiry Manager, you will take ownership of all new and used vehicle enquiries, ensuring they are managed promptly, professionally and effectively from initial contact through to appointment and sale. You will monitor enquiry quality, coach the sales team on best practice, and ensure every customer interaction reflects the premium standards expected of the BMW and MINI brands.
Working closely with the Sales Management team, you will drive enquiry conversion, appointment attendance and customer satisfaction, whilst implementing processes that maximize every opportunity and deliver outstanding commercial results.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing and overseeing all digital, telephone and showroom sales enquiries.
- Ensuring every enquiry is responded to promptly and professionally.
- Maximising appointment conversion and sales opportunities.
- Coaching and supporting the sales team to improve enquiry handling and conversion.
- Monitoring enquiry performance through reporting and KPIs.
- Maintaining exceptional levels of customer communication throughout the sales journey.
- Working collaboratively with the management team to continually improve customer experience and sales performance.
- Ensuring all enquiries are managed in line with manufacturer and Sytner Group standards.

About You
This role would suit a manager with retail sales experience gained from within the motor industry, who has well-developed leadership skills and a deep understanding of all areas of the department.
You will be able to demonstrate proven success in management and be capable of handling conflicting demands in a fast-paced retail environment. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be highly motivated by achieving results, and have a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
In addition, you will need to demonstrate the passion and ability to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction to generate repeat and referral business.
As a minimum requirement, applicants must have previous Business Manager experience within the automotive industry. Experience leading or coaching sales teams, managing customer enquiries and driving conversion performance would be highly advantageous.
