Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Location: Beehive ABA, Bounds Green, North London
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm
Salary: £29,000–£35,000 per year, depending on experience
Enhanced salary may be considered for a suitably experienced candidate
About Beehive ABA
Beehive ABA is an Ofsted-registered early years clinic in Bounds Green, North London. We provide individualised, evidence-based support for young children in a warm, engaging, and child-centred environment.
Our clinic has three dedicated teaching spaces and operates throughout the year, providing structured two-hour sessions alongside opportunities for play, communication, social development, and independence.
There are only a small number of dedicated ABA clinics in the UK, making this a rare opportunity for a BCBA to develop their clinical practice within an established centre-based service and become an important part of our growing team.
The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and clinically confident BCBA to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee individualised ABA programmes, support and supervise tutors, work collaboratively with families and other professionals, and help maintain high standards of clinical practice throughout the clinic.
You will work closely with our Clinical Lead, other behaviour analysts, and the wider Beehive team. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with children, contribute to service development, and help shape best practice within a specialist early-intervention setting.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct skills-based and functional assessments using appropriate assessment tools.
- Develop individualised, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate programmes.
- Identify clinical priorities in collaboration with families and the wider professional team.
- Review data regularly and make evidence-based programme changes.
- Develop and oversee behaviour support plans where required.
- Provide direct observation, modelling, coaching, and feedback to ABA tutors.
- Support staff to implement programmes consistently and with procedural integrity.
- Deliver ongoing training and competency-based supervision.
- Monitor children’s progress and prepare clear clinical reports.
- Lead or contribute to parent and caregiver training.
- Work collaboratively with families, nurseries, schools, and other professionals, including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.
- Support the generalisation of skills across people, activities, and environments.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and staff development.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, assent, least-restrictive practice, and the rights of every child.
- Contribute to the continued development of Beehive’s clinical systems, resources, and services.
- Support the clinic in meeting its Ofsted, safeguarding, and organisational requirements.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold current Board Certified Behaviour Analyst certification.
- Hold UKBA(cert) status or be eligible and willing to obtain it.
- Have experience assessing, designing, and overseeing ABA programmes for children.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of contemporary, ethical, and person-centred behaviour-analytic practice.
- Be confident supervising, training, and providing constructive feedback to staff.
- Be able to analyse clinical data and use it to guide decision-making.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively with families, colleagues, and other professionals.
- Have strong organisational and report-writing skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
- Have the right to work in the UK.

It would be beneficial for applicants to have:
- Experience working within an early-years or clinic-based service.
- Experience supporting children with autism and other developmental differences.
- Knowledge of assessment tools such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or ESDM-related curricula.
- Experience developing communication, play, social, self-care, and school-readiness programmes.
- Experience working alongside multidisciplinary professionals.
- Previous involvement in service development, staff training, or clinical leadership.
- Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding practice within an early-years setting.
