Join our Board as Chair
Support a growing cultural organisation. This flexible volunteer role involves 3–4 online meetings a year. Previous board experience isn't essential—we're looking for someone who shares our passion for culture and is willing to learn.
What difference will you make?
As Board Chair, you'll help us build a strong and supportive Board as Cultural Fashion & Arts CIC continues to grow. Your guidance will help us make good decisions, strengthen our governance and create new opportunities to celebrate culture through fashion and the arts. Ultimately, your support will enable us to reach more communities, develop new partnerships and continue delivering inclusive cultural experiences that educate, inspire and bring people together.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, collaborative and passionate about supporting our mission. Previous experience as a Board Chair isn't essential, but experience in leadership, management or working as part of a board or committee is desired.

What will you be doing?
Cultural Fashion & Arts CIC is entering an exciting stage of development as we continue to expand our programmes, partnerships and community impact through culture, fashion and the arts.
Our Board currently consists of the Founder and three trustees, and we are looking to grow the Board by recruiting additional trustees and a second director to strengthen our skills and experience.

As our new Board Chair, you'll help keep the Board focused, collaborative and effective. You'll chair 3–4 online Board meetings each year, support productive discussions and work alongside the Founder to ensure the Board provides appropriate guidance as the organisation grows.
There are no committees to chair, and the role doesn't involve day-to-day management of the organisation. Instead, we're looking for someone who can help coordinate and facilitate Board meetings, encourage good decision-making and provide occasional advice between meetings when needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a key point in our journey as we continue to build an organisation that celebrates cultural heritage, promotes inclusion and creates opportunities for communities to connect through fashion and the arts.
