About the Role
We're looking for an experienced BOARD EPM Consultant to join a growing delivery team, supporting clients through the design, development and implementation of BOARD Enterprise Planning solutions.
This is a hands-on consulting role where you'll work directly with stakeholders to understand business requirements before designing and developing robust planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting solutions within the BOARD platform. You'll play a key role throughout the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment, training and ongoing optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have strong BOARD development experience and be confident building multidimensional models, business rules and dashboards that solve complex finance and operational planning challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support BOARD EPM implementation projects across multiple industries.
- Gather and analyse business requirements from finance and operational stakeholders.
- Design and build multidimensional BOARD data models.
- Develop planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting applications within BOARD.
- Configure cubes, entities, hierarchies, data readers and business rules.
- Build interactive dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
- Develop allocation models, calculations and workflow processes.
- Integrate BOARD with ERP and other enterprise systems using ETL and data integration tools.
- Support data migration, testing and deployment activities.
- Deliver user training and provide post-go-live support.
- Recommend improvements to planning processes and solution architecture.
- Produce functional and technical documentation throughout project delivery.

Required Experience
- Commercial experience implementing BOARD EPM solutions.
- Strong hands-on BOARD development experience.
- Experience building BOARD multidimensional models from scratch.
- Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.

- Strong SQL and data modelling knowledge.
- Experience working through the full software implementation lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

Desirable Experience
- BOARD Developer Certification.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other BI technologies.
- Experience within finance transformation programmes.
- Consultancy experience delivering multiple client projects simultaneously.
