Bro Radio, the award-winning Community Radio station for the Vale of Glamorgan, is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join its Board of Management.
As we continue to grow our output, expand our training programmes and strengthen our role right across the Vale of Glamorgan, we’re looking for people who can help shape the station’s future, bringing fresh ideas, strategic insight and a commitment to local storytelling.
We’re particularly interested in people with experience in:
- Media, communications or journalism
- Youth work or education
- Governance or charity leadership
- Commercial Radio sales, promotions and marketing
- Business, fundraising or partnership building

As a Board member you will join us during an exciting junction in our journey, as Bro Radio heads towards its 18th year on air, and your role will:
- Help guide Bro Radio’s strategic direction
- Attend bi-monthly board meetings (2 hours) and bi-monthly catch-up meetings (1 hour) on alternative months
- Support the station’s growth, sustainability and community impact
- Champion local voices and local media
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and forward-thinking organisation
