About The Opportunity

A high-growth biotech unicorn operating at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and life sciences is seeking an Independent Non-Executive Board Director with deep technology expertise and a proven track record of innovation within a leading Silicon Valley technology company.

This board-level role provides strategic oversight while helping shape the company's long-term technology, commercial, and growth strategy. The successful candidate will work alongside the Board and executive leadership to strengthen governance, guide innovation, and support international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Board Governance & Strategy

  • Provide strategic guidance on technology, innovation, AI, data, and digital transformation.
  • Advise the Board and executive leadership on long-term growth initiatives and corporate strategy.
  • Support effective corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and shareholder value creation.
  • Act as an independent advisor while constructively challenging executive decision-making.

Technology & Innovation

  • Contribute expertise on product strategy, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.
  • Help shape the company's technology roadmap and competitive positioning.
  • Advise on technology trends relevant to healthcare and life sciences.

Commercial Growth

  • Provide guidance on strategic partnerships and market expansion opportunities.
  • Leverage experience from global technology organizations to support business scaling.
  • Represent the company with investors, strategic partners, and key stakeholders when appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Current or former VP, SVP, C-suite executive, or equivalent at a leading Silicon Valley technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare, life sciences, AI, cloud computing, digital health, or related technology sectors.
  • Strong strategic, commercial, and operational leadership experience within high-growth or global organizations.
  • Experience leading innovation, product strategy, or enterprise technology transformation.
  • Excellent governance, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to provide independent oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Board or Advisory Board experience.
  • Established network across the technology and healthcare ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting organizations through rapid growth, international expansion, or market disruption.
