Weaver Vale Housing Trust
Northwich, Cheshire
£5,400 per annum
Approximately two days per month

Weaver Vale Housing Trust is looking to appoint two new Board Members to help shape the future of the organisation as it embarks on the next chapter of its strategic journey. As the Trust begins developing its next Corporate Plan and prepares to welcome a new Chair, this is an opportunity to join a high-performing Board at an exciting time of change and ambition.

Since 2002, Weaver Vale has grown to own and manage more than 6,800 homes across Cheshire and Warrington. The Trust has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes and services, placing customers at the heart of decision-making and creating thriving communities. Following its most recent inspection, the Trust achieved the highest possible regulatory gradings for Governance, Viability and Consumer Standards (G1, V1 and C1), providing a strong platform for the future.

The Board is now looking to strengthen its collective expertise through the appointment of two individuals with different professional backgrounds, each bringing strategic insight, constructive challenge and a shared commitment to excellent governance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
