Board Member and Committee Chair (People & Culture)

First Choice Housing Association
South Wales
£4,126 pa | £1,000 Committee Chair Supplement

Campbell Tickell is proud to be recruiting to two board member roles at First Choice Housing Association.

First Choice Housing Association (FCHA) is a specialist housing provider supporting vulnerable adults across Wales. Since 1988, we have helped people with learning and physical disabilities, complex needs, mental health conditions, and veterans live independently. We own 450 properties and provide homes for over 1,070 individuals.

We are seeking two new Board Members to help shape our future. One role requires expertise in tenant engagement ideally from within a care and support background, while the other is suited to candidates with experience of People & Culture who will also chair our People & Culture Committee. The additional supplement (above) recognises the additional responsibilities, leadership expectations, and governance obligations associated with serving as Committee Chair.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
