Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Board Room Manager at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As a Board Room Manager, you will be leading teams of waiters, bartenders, and supervisors to deliver first-class experiences to premium guests with your knowledge of bar and restaurant organisation, menu information, and service delivery. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the delivery of food and beverage service in a premium environment to ensure seamless experiences, managing food and beverage team members, while collaborating with culinary teams to execute timely service
- Prepare and organise the space prior to meetings and events, ensuring everything is complete for service
- Train, develop, and motivate team members, maintaining open communication for feedback
- Maintain positive guest relations and high service standards, liaising confidently and appropriately with guests, addressing any concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure the operation runs in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility including health & safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards
Qualifications
- No degree required
- Experience managing and leading hospitality teams across multiple offer types in premium restaurant or private club member environment
- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, preferably within a hospitality and catering environment
- Additional experience or qualifications in wine is beneficial
- Skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, organisation, planning, customer service, and strategic thinking
