Could you use your skills and experience to help shape the future of Alice’s Escapes?
Alice’s Escapes provides respite holidays for families with terminally ill children, as well as bereavement breaks for families who have experienced the loss of a child, giving families precious time together when they need it most. Since the charity began, we’ve provided more than 570 family holidays.
As we look to the future, we’re looking to strengthen our Board and would particularly love to hear from people with experience in:

You don’t need previous Trustee experience. What matters most is that you can bring relevant skills, good judgement and a genuine commitment to the work of Alice’s Escapes.
What’s involved?
As a Trustee, you’ll help guide the charity’s strategy and future direction, contribute to good governance and financial oversight, and support us in growing our impact sustainably.
- Quarterly Trustee meetings
- Remote position
- Voluntary role, with reasonable expenses payable
- Accredited Trustee training provided
