Maggs
Maggs is Worcestershire’ leading homeless charity, supporting people experiencing homelessness and severe hardship across Worcestershire by providing immediate support, safe spaces and pathways forward.
We deliver five core services of Crisis Support, Practical Support, Health & Wellbeing, Housing & Accommodation and Community & Recovery across three main hubs (Worcester, Redditch and Malvern).
Alongside delivering frontline services, we work collaboratively with local authorities, health services, businesses, charities and communities to strengthen the wider homelessness system and create lasting change across Worcestershire.

We are looking for individuals to join our Board of Trustees – we are specifically keen to recruit people with strong commercial experience, or with experience of property management and supported accommodation in the homeless sector. However, we welcome interest from people who have the energy and ambition to support Maggs vision and strong alignment with our values.

You will have a strong commitment to supporting people experiencing homelessness, a willingness to give time in a flexible, volunteer-friendly way and a desire in helping the charity build partnerships across the region.
The role has a time commitment of approximately 6 plus hours per month (Quarterly board meetings, preparation, sub-groups, optional attendance at occasional events)
