The Eddystone Trust is looking for new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of our charity. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals who can bring their skills, experience and perspective to our Board of Trustees as we continue to develop our work across the South West.

As a Trustee, you will play an important role in providing strategic leadership and ensuring that The Eddystone Trust remains well governed, financially sustainable and focused on achieving its charitable objectives.

We are particularly interested in people with experience or expertise in areas such as:

  • Strategy, leadership and organisational development
  • Finance, governance and risk
  • Fundraising and income generation
  • Digital transformation and data
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Community engagement and health inequalities
  • Impact, evaluation and partnership working

You don't need previous experience as a Trustee.

We welcome applications from people who can bring relevant professional, community or lived experience and who are willing to contribute to the strategic development of the organisation. We particularly encourage applications from people with lived experience of the communities we support and from people whose perspectives are currently underrepresented in charity leadership.

  • Passionate about improving sexual health and wellbeing and reducing stigma
  • Able to think strategically and contribute constructively to Board discussions
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and challenging ideas when appropriate
  • Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Able to give the time and commitment required of a Trustee
  • Interested in helping shape the future direction of The Eddystone Trust
