Body Shop Estimator

Whitby Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair estimating, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document vehicle damage, utilizing industry-standard estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, etc.)
  • Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates, including parts, labour, and materials costs
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters to negotiate claim settlements
  • Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing concerns
  • Source and order necessary repair parts
  • Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and industry best practices
  • Experience in automotive estimating software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence
