Body Shop Manager
Location: Bishop's Stortford
Basic Salary: £60,000
OTE: £85,000
Car Allowance: £500 per month

Pybus Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly successful automotive repair group to recruit an experienced Body Shop Manager for their busy and well-established site in Bishop's Stortford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded leader to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a high-performing body shop. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving profitability, leading a skilled team, and ensuring operational excellence across the business.
The Role
As Body Shop Manager, you will:
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians, painters, MET technicians, estimators, and support staff
- Oversee all aspects of workshop operations, productivity, and efficiency
- Ensure repairs are completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed timescales
- Manage budgets, costs, and profitability targets
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous business improvement
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong insurer and manufacturer relationships
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
- Recruit, develop, and retain talented team members

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Body Shop Manager, General Manager, or Senior Bodyshop Leader
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A proven track record of delivering financial and operational performance
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of body shop processes, repair standards, and industry best practices
- A full UK driving licence
