Bodyshop Advisor / Estimator Maidstone

We are recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Advisor, Bodyshop Estimator or Automotive Service Advisor to join a busy bodyshop in Maidstone. Applicants must have previous bodyshop estimating, Service Advisor or similar automotive customer-facing experience, with strong knowledge of repair estimates and the bodyshop repair process. Insurance claims experience is highly desirable, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Job Details:

  • Location: Maidstone
  • Salary: Up to £36,000 basic + bonus, OTE £42,000
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, No Weekends
  • Reference: 31284

Bodyshop Advisor / Estimator Role

  • Manage customer bookings and schedule bodyshop repair work
  • Inspect vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates
  • Manage insurance claims and liaise with insurers and engineers regarding authorisations
  • Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
  • Coordinate vehicle assessments, customer visits and bodyshop workflow
  • Work closely with Bodyshop Technicians to monitor repair progress and timescales
  • Source and order parts while maintaining accurate repair documentation

Bodyshop Advisor / Estimator Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, Bodyshop Advisor, Service Advisor or similar automotive role
  • Strong understanding of bodyshop repair processes and vehicle damage estimates
  • Insurance claims and repair authorisation experience is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of parts sourcing and procurement is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple repairs and customer requirements in a busy bodyshop
  • Right to work in the UK
