About The Role…
We are excited to be recruiting for a Bodyshop Estimator. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups.
As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service, you will ensure that customers vehicles are fully and accurately assessed for repairs and damage to a high standard. You will be required to carry out admin duties and liaise with customers in a professional and timely manner. Here at Stoneacre we never underestimate an employee’s talent and their ability, whilst ultimately contributing to making Stoneacre the Number One motor group.
£35,000 - £40,000 a year

An average day as a Bodyshop Estimator…
- You will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager and be responsible for estimating vehicles that require body repairs and paintwork to a high standard.
- You will ensure estimates are produced in accordance with Thatcham/Manufacture methods but also profitable to repair.
- You will liaise with the Bodyshop Technicians for supplementary orders/parts on vehicles that are in progress.
- You will obtain final authorisation for completed repairs; liaising with insurance companies to gain authorisation for invoicing.
- You will supply insurers with parts/sub contract details for audit when required.
- You will assist the Bodyshop Manager with duties involved in the running of the Bodyshop
About You…
- You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment
- You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your calm ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way.
- You will have experience in developing relationships with customers, third part companies (such as insurance companies) and your colleagues.
- You must be Audatex certified
- You will Ideally have ATA/VDA but is not essential.
- Your will Ideally have Autoflow experience but is not essential
- You will have the drive and determination to maintain a productive profitable department and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results through other people.
