All-Round Bodyshop Technician

Location: Knypersley, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm and 7am to 1pm on a Friday

About CVM World

CVM World is a rapidly growing, family-run second-stage motor vehicle manufacturer based in Knypersley, Stoke-on-Trent. We specialise in converting light commercial vehicles and supplying high-quality used vehicles to customers across sectors including construction, education, care, charity and voluntary organisations.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / All-Round Bodyshop Technician to join our workshop team.

This role would suit someone who takes real pride in the quality of their finish but is also practical, flexible and willing to support the wider team. We are not looking for someone who only wants to work in the spray booth. We are looking for an all-rounder who is happy to spray, prepare, mask, finish, strip, fit and support wherever needed to get the vehicle completed to the right standard.

The successful candidate will be a time-served or experienced sprayer who can paint vehicles and vehicle repairs to a high standard. You will also be expected to be involved in preparation before vehicles enter the spray booth, including light filling, sanding, masking and light panel work where appropriate.

There will also be a finishing element to the role, ensuring that vehicles are presented in the best possible condition before they leave us and are handed over to the customer.

At CVM World, we work as One Team. This means everyone takes responsibility for quality, deadlines and supporting colleagues. The right person will be willing to do whatever task is necessary to keep work moving and help the team deliver.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
