Operations & Finance Coordinator

Location: Charlton Down, near Dorchester, Dorset (Hybrid working available)

Hours: 9:00am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday (minimum). Full-time hours available for the right candidate.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

About Us

Cooper & Cooper Solar is a growing renewable energy company based near Dorchester, providing high-quality solar PV and battery installations across Dorset and the surrounding areas. As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for an organised, proactive individual to become a key member of our office team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety. You’ll play an important role in both the financial management and day-to-day operations of the business, helping ensure everything runs efficiently from enquiry through to installation.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining bookkeeping, administration and job scheduling. You’ll work closely with the company director, customers, suppliers and installation teams to keep projects organised and finances up to date.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
