The successful applicant will:
- Produce monthly management reports and assist the CFO with annual and quarterly budgeting.
- Complete financial statement reconciliations and VAT returns.
- Complete monthly invoicing including direct debit management (outsourced system).
- Complete monthly payroll for the group, supported by outsourced payroll bureau.
- Manage remittances from and liaise with different Local Authorities and the NHS.
- Use Xero/HubDoc software to collate, upload and process monthly supplier payments.
- Lead the relationships and manage supplier contracts and commercials.
- Assist the CFO in integrating accounts of newly acquired homes.
- Engage with other stakeholders in the business to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations of each care home.

Benefits
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Business Administration would be preferable.
- An understanding of UK Employment Law is desirable but not necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Confident user of technology, and ability to learn new software.
- Advanced knowledge of the Xero accounting system.
