Role Overview
We require an enthusiastic, organised, and flexible individual to support patient scheduling within the Adult Audiology Team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB) NHS Foundation Trust.
Department Information
The Department is based at RDH but also has a satellite service at FNCH in town and delivers services across multiple community locations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this role are focused around booking/rescheduling patient appointments, administration, and clerical duties supporting the wider Audiology Team.
Work Locations
Working across both RDH and FNCH sites will be a requirement.
Employment Options
Options for full-time, part-time, or job share are possible.
Key Qualities
Applicants must be excellent communicators with the ability to liaise with colleagues and patients. Essential qualities are strong organisational/time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Flexibility is required as the post holder will be required across the two main sites.
Experience Required
Applicants should have demonstrable experience of working in a busy customer-focused or care environment or have call handling/reception experience. Applicants must be experienced in using IT systems and/or appointment systems, although training will be given.

Core Skills/Qualifications
- Educated to English Language and Mathematics at O’ level/GCSE level
- IT literacy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually, with minimal supervision
