Job Summary
The Booking Coordinator will assist in finding new talent, developing and expanding the agency roster as well as sourcing and managing artist bookings from start to finish. This role demands a highly proactive approach and requires strong music industry experience with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with artists, managers, and creators. The ideal candidate will have experience as a booker or coordinator in a live music agency and have the skills and desire to progress.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify emerging musical talent across various genres locally and internationally
- Attend live shows, showcases, and industry events to discover new artists and network with key players
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on potential signings
- Develop career strategy plans for new and current artists
- Support onboarding of new artists ensuring a smooth transition into the agency
- Secure bookings and new opportunities for artists on the roster
- Assist with routing and booking tours
- Manage the booking process from start to finish, from creating contracts to settling shows
- Liaising with other departments such as finance, marketing, brand partnerships to deliver a comprehensive service to our artists
- Provide support and training to agency assistants
- Contribute to the overall music strategy in conjunction with the rest of the booking team

Requirements
- Excellent communicator with a passion for relationship-building, music, culture, creativity, and artist development
- Ability to manage, organise and prioritise an ever-evolving workflow
- Experience of training junior staff
- Strong background in a live music agency setting
- Strong experience working directly with artists, managers, and agents
- Proven ability to identify commercially viable and culturally significant musical talent
- Good understanding of current and developing market trends, audience behaviour, and the overall music industry
- Strong presentation, networking, and negotiation abilities
