Hollywood weddings.
Global brand launches. Parties so luxurious most people only see on Instagram.
Want to be the one there making them happen?
We’re Sensation Band, one of the most in-demand party bands in the world. For over 14 years we’ve been filling dancefloors at celebrity weddings (Millie Bobby Brown’s included), global brand launches, five-star hotels and private parties across the UK and around the world. Nearly all of our work comes through referrals and repeat clients, because once people see us play, they tell their friends. Now we’re looking for someone to join our small team at HQ in Hampstead Garden Suburb. You’ll be the first person clients talk to, you’ll help them plan the best night of their lives, and you’ll be there when it all comes together. Sometimes that’s in London, and sometimes it’s on the other side of the world.
What you’ll actually be doing
Turning enquiries into bookings
- Picking up the phone when people call to book us (and handling forwarded calls out of hours when needed)
- Getting back to every new enquiry quickly, finding out what they’re after and getting them a proposal
- Building proposals in our CRM, including working out extras like travel, sound and logistics
- Following up so nothing goes cold
- Meeting clients, sometimes in the evening or at weekends
- Inviting clients to see us play live, which is usually what seals the deal
- Answering their questions and getting them over the line
- Sending contracts, walking people through the terms, and making sure everything comes back signed
- Getting deposits paid so the date’s locked in

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Making the gig happen
- Keeping on top of payments: reminders, statements, due dates
- Talking to venues about space, power, facilities, noise limits, load-in and timings
- Working with our in-house production company, LiT (lit.co.uk), on sound and production needs
- Planning the night with the client: running order, band meals, song requests
- Sorting travel and logistics when we’re playing abroad
- Sending the band a pre-gig email with everything they need: travel, timings, setlist
- Looking after wardrobe, so everything’s clean, ready and in the right place (dry cleaning included)
- Being there on the night to run things, or briefing a freelance manager to cover. Expect around 2 gigs a month, some of them abroad

- Building relationships with the people who send work our way: hotels, planners, agencies and wedding suppliers
- Helping spread the word on LinkedIn, social and at networking events
