Are you organised, comfortable using IT systems and someone who takes pride in getting the details right?
We’re looking for a Bookings Operative to join our Operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience within the fast-paced world of transport and logistics – and previous logistics experience isn’t essential.
You’ll play an important part in keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly, making sure bookings are accurately entered onto our systems, information is communicated clearly and the right documentation reaches our customers, suppliers and customs partners.
What You’ll Get

What will you be doing?
Working closely with our Operations team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Receiving booking information and accurately entering details into our Transport Management System (TMS)
- Preparing and sending customer communications and transport orders
- Liaising professionally with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and other partners
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for transport movements
- Supporting the administration of customs-related shipments
- Communicating with shippers to obtain the paperwork required for customs clearance
- Forwarding documentation to the appropriate customs brokers
- Tracking customs-related jobs and keeping information up to date
- Checking that external broker costs are accurately recorded within our systems
- Helping ensure our transport activities are administered efficiently, accurately and compliantly
