Bookkeeper – VAT & Management Accounts
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of clients providing bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts support!
The specialist Accounts Team at AJ Chambers are currently working with a well-known London based Accountants as they are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their busy team!
Your Responsibilities will include -
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Bank and control account reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate client bookkeeping records
- Reviewing transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Managing client queries and deadlines
- Supporting year-end accounts where required

About You -
- Experienced Bookkeeper with Accountancy Practice experience
- Strong knowledge of UK VAT
- Experience preparing management accounts
- Comfortable managing multiple clients
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with Sage 50 or similar software
