Suffolk Tax Accountants are looking for a bookkeeper to join the team to provide our clients with a professional all round service whilst maintaining the personal touch.
Job description
Due to the continued growth of the practice, we are looking for a candidate to join the business support team, ideally with all-round bookkeeping experience, but not essential as training can be given in specific areas.
We service a variety of client types across varying industries. We mainly use Xero Software, but also use Sage, Quickbooks, and some bespoke systems. Experience in these software would be an advantage.

The candidate will progress to manage a portfolio or regular bookkeeping clients, with the assistance of the team as required.
Main duties to include:
- Bookkeeping on a variety of softwares
- VAT Return Preparation
- Assisting the accounts department with specific projects
- Ad hoc attendance at client sites
We are keen to support our staff in their development and are happy to offer the opportunity to complete qualifications such as The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).

Full or Part-Time positions considered and salary is negotiable.
