The Paperwork Team provides flexible, professional support in bookkeeping, administration, and personal assistant services to businesses that want expertise without the costs and responsibilities of hiring in-house staff. The team helps clients with everything from organizing receipts to implementing clear, efficient online accounting systems and managing day-to-day financial operations. Services can include end-of-year accounts, VAT, payroll, cashflow monitoring, invoicing, debt collection, and receipt management. The Paperwork Team also offers confidential PA support for diaries, emails, and personal arrangements, as well as administrative help with documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases. This comprehensive support enables clients to focus on core priorities while routine financial and administrative tasks are handled efficiently.

The Bookkeeper will work full time in a hybrid capacity, based in Shipston-On-Stour with some work from home acceptable. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing bookkeeping activities, processing invoices and expenses, posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records within accounting software. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, supporting VAT and payroll processes, monitoring cashflow, and assisting with end-of-year accounts. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with clients and internal team members to clarify financial information, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and provide timely, reliable data for business decision-making. The position requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to handle multiple client accounts.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Bookkeeping and Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements and working with Finance-related data.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Accounting Software and related digital tools.
- Relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance, ideally within small business or practice-based environments.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with clients and colleagues, and the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Formal training or qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is beneficial (e.g., AAT or equivalent).
