About The Job

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Bookkeeper to support the smooth financial running for a range of clients. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting sales billing processes, and ensuring effective credit control across the business. The role also offers involvement in a range of ad hoc finance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility of bookkeeping using Xero
  • Managing and maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Raising and processing client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Managing credit control, including monitoring aged debt and following up on outstanding payments
  • Supporting month-end financial processes and reporting as required
  • Assisting with ad hoc financial and administrative projects
  • Working with internal systems and contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or finance management, ideally within a professional services or accountancy environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively
  • Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
