On-site, Temporary Full time 6-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position
For over 10 years, Live Wire has delivered technology, AV, and immersive experiences across Formula 1 and major live events worldwide. Supporting leading F1 teams and Formula 1 Management across all 24 races, our work spans hospitality suites, paddocks, garages, pit walls, fan zones, and factory environments.
Alongside motorsport, we deliver technical production and live event solutions across concerts, festivals, theatre, conferences, and venues including the Southbank Centre and Barbican. Based in Banbury, we are a fast-growing company working in some of the most demanding and exciting live production environments in the world.
Job Description
This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting international operations, and ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day financial processes. You’ll work closely with our finance, operations, production and project teams to help ensure financial clarity across multiple projects, clients, and international hubs.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Process supplier invoices and employee expenses in line with company policy
- Reconcile credit cards across departments
- Maintain the general ledger and assist with month-end closing activities
- Assist with VAT returns and support the Finance Team with relevant UK and international financial compliance requirements.
- Help monitor cash flow and flag potential issues proactively
- Liaise with project managers to track project spending and assist with budget management
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support year-end audit processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and day-to-day accounting processes
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Experience using Sage X3 (ERP), QuickBooks and Zero
- AAT Level 3 qualified or working towards the qualification preferred
- Good working knowledge of VAT and general UK finance processes
- Confident using Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with Finance, Projects and other teams
- Good communication skills when dealing with employees, suppliers and other external contacts
- Experience working with multiple projects, currencies or international operations would be advantageous
