Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Redditch. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including posting and reconciling journal entries, managing ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Preparing basic financial reports
- Assisting in the production of financial statements
- Processing invoices and payments
- Monitoring accounts receivable and payable
The role also involves working with accounting software to update records, generate reports, and ensure data integrity. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with colleagues to address client queries, support compliance requirements, and help maintain organized documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and accurate Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Ability to support preparation and review of Financial Statements and related reports.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and basic Finance concepts relevant to small and medium-sized businesses.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting; relevant certification or qualification (e.g., AAT or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in an office environment and handling confidential financial information with integrity.

Salary
- £28k-£32k depending on experience.
