The Role
We're looking for a Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day running of our Finance function. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will maintain accurate financial records, manage multi-currency transactions, and support payroll and compliance processes across the UK and US, helping to keep the business organised and compliant as it continues to grow.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper within a B2B SaaS company
- Solid working knowledge of FRS 102 (UK GAAP) reporting requirements
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions and reconciliations
- Hands-on proficiency with Xero (essential)
- Understanding of US tax and payroll requirements
- Understanding of UK tax and payroll (PAYE, NI, pensions, VAT) requirements
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with cross-border/international finance processes
- Relevant bookkeeping qualification (e.g. AAT) or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, remote, or scale-up environment
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records using Xero
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including multi-currency invoices and payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts in line with FRS 102 (UK GAAP) standards
- Support payroll processing for both US and UK employees, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations
- Assist with VAT returns, tax filings, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors as needed
- Ensure all financial deadlines (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) are met on time
- Respond promptly and clearly to internal queries from stakeholders across departments
- Maintain organised financial documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve bookkeeping processes and controls as the business scales
