Our client is a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants.

Based in the City and with easy access to multiple tubes and train stations.

Their clients are based in both UK and Overseas.

They work with some very well known companies and their subsidiaries.

They have a reputation for quality and precision and treat their employees very well.

In the last year 3 employees have been promoted internally.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper from an Accountancy Practice to keep busy and learn more about the accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
  • Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
  • Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
  • Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
  • Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Preparing employee wages
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
