Calling Bookkeepers and Finance Assistants with a passion for all things music and entertainment...

We are partnering with a fast-growing group of music and entertainment businesses looking to add an experienced finance professional to their close-knit London team.

Working closely with the Founder, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple businesses, in a varied, high-volume role covering invoicing, credit control and wider transactional finance.

You'll also work closely with the group's external accounting team, while becoming an integral part of a brilliant business that is achieving year-on-year growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a high volume of sales and purchase invoices
  • Raising, processing and accurately recording invoices
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are correctly allocated
  • Managing credit control and proactively following up outstanding invoices
  • Liaising directly with clients regarding invoices, payments and account queries
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies or invoicing issues
  • Supporting day-to-day bookkeeping requirements across the businesses
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team and wider London office
  • Supporting the external accountancy team with queries, reconciliations and financial information as required

About You:

  • A minimum of 3 years' relevant bookkeeping / transactional finance experience
  • Strong experience managing invoicing and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience of credit control and confidently chasing outstanding payments
  • Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach
  • Strong Excel skills, Xero will be highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage a busy workload and high transaction volumes
  • Study support towards AAT, CIMA or ACCA considered
